Ben Saren Has Web Pages
Marketing executive and behaved citizen by day, unruly insomniac by night. A dash of mania, a sprinkle of wonder, combined with a heaping tablespoon of impulsiveness. Unwilling to follow the masses, longing for truth and meaning, having some fun along the way. You can also find me at my blog.
Lifestream
Wondering what a Lifestream is? You’re not alone. In my words, a Lifestream is a sort of real-time ticker on what a person is doing online, specifically on the social web. I, like you, have profiles on Facebook, twitter, and lots and lots of other sites. So a Lifestream basically brings in all my social/online activity and lists it out. The point? Well, I suppose that’s subjective. Here’s what Wikipedia has to say about Lifestream:
The term lifestream was coined by Eric Freeman and David Gelernter at Yale University in the mid-1990s to describe “…a time-ordered stream of documents that functions as a diary of your electronic life; every document you create and every document other people send you is stored in your lifestream. Lifestreams are also referred to as social activity streams or social streams.
Well, that said, here’s my Lifestream…
